Katrina
The Bryn Athyn Society of the General Church is sponsoring a new organiation, Charity In Action, whose first mission is to support victims of Katrina by sending them supplies coordinated by Swedenborgian minister Rev. Martie Johnson (who is serving as chaplain for a Seabees unit based in Gulfport Mississippi), and organizing shelter and long-term housing solutions for those displaced into the Philadelphia area.
